House of Memories aims to recognise the emotional attachment to everyday objects as a sustainable behaviour through artistic and cultural contexts. In a fast-paced society filled with machines doing things "quickly and outside the natural rhythm of life" (Sarton M. 2014), a forgetting behaviour is being developed within people, making the replacement of a product much easier.

Nicole Rambla Bedwell is a Barcelona-based creative communicator specialising in design and architecture journalism and cultural communication. She graduated with honours in Interior Design from Chelsea College of Arts (University of the Arts London) and has worked across editorial and brand contexts, with experience in media outlets such as Dezeen and Leibal, and at the design editor Santa & Cole.
       She is currently a press and communications assistant at Labóh, transdisciplinary consultancy dedicated to design and architecture, where she manages communications for institutions such as the Fundació Mies van der Rohe and where she has coordinated the first EU-organised design exhibition Design Beyond Things at Expo 2025 Osaka, Japan. She is a board member of ADI–FAD (Spanish Industrial Design Association) and is the founder of Do Not Sit Here, a digital archive exploring the cultural significance of seating. 
       Her practice is driven by an interest in the intersection of space and gender, memory and materiality, craft and design—themes she explores both professionally and through independent projects.
