Nicole Rambla Bedwell is a Barcelona-based creative communicator and writer specialising in design journalism and communication. After graduating with an honours degree in Interior Design from Chelsea College of Arts (University of the Arts London), she joined Dezeen as an editorial intern, where she wrote articles around craftsmanship, sustainability and architecture. She later worked as a copywriter and content manager in the communications department of the design company Santa & Cole.
Currently, she is a press and communication assistant at Labóh, a transdisciplinary communications consultancy dedicated to design and architecture. She also runs Do Not Sit Here, a digital archive exploring the cultural significance of seating, and is a monthly contributor to the New York-based publication Leibal. Her work is driven by an interest in the intersection of space and gender, memory and materiality, craft and design—themes she explores both professionally and in academic research projects.
